I work for TruePath Wireless as the VP of Sales and Field Operations. We are focused on solving complex wireless problems using unlicensed spectrum for military and emerging market applications.
I have had a variety of jobs that have required me to travel since 1986. It has taken my family and me all over the world, including living outside the US for about 8 years. I have had a chance to do business and travel extensively throughout Europe, the CIS and Russia.
After my family, technology is my passion. Keeping up with new technologies, trying out both hardware and software, and finding new ways to use new technology in my personal and work life is a pleasurable pass time. I am constantly looking for better ways to stay in touch with my customers, organize the massive and diverse amount of information I must deal with, and find new tools to enhance my on-line life.
My blog, A Digital Nomad, is a way for me to communicate about these experiences as well as a random assortment of interconnected thoughts from my Internet and work life. I started using the “Internet” in 1984 when I joined Sun Microsystems. I will add a few articles that might be interesting to those looking for more information about the beginnings of the Internet.
I have taken up surfing. Living in just outside of Santa Cruz, CA it is hard to justify not to. Haven’t had much of a chance to go out lately, hopefully in this winter.

I have taken all the pictures on this web site. The Egyptian Hieroglyphics headers were taken on my trip to Egypt in 2007. There are several panoramas from St. Petersburg as headers as well. The rest on other trips both business and leisure.
