I currently work for VT iDirect as the Western North America Sales Director. iDirect is the leading provider of broadband over satellite solutions. My first 4 years at iDirect where spent living in England while working as Sales Director for Europe, Russia, and the CIS. A family decision to move back to California in 2005 led to my current position with iDirect.

This is my gateway to my online life. It is a place for me to experiment with Web technologies for fun and work. I am surrounded by entrepreneurs working on a variety of Web Applications. Working on the Webstore, SEO and SEM for my wife's business, The Crafter's Studio, in Santa Cruz California, gave me the final motivation to create my own site.

After my family, technology is my passion. Keeping up with new technologies, trying out both hardware and software, and finding new ways to use new technology in my personal and work life is a pleasurable pass time. I am constantly looking for better ways to stay in touch with my customers, organize the massive and diverse amount of information I must deal with, and find new tools to enhance my on-line life. I travel extensively for my position at iDirect throughout the Western US and Canada.

My blog, A Digital Nomad, will talk about these experiences as well as a random assortment of interconnected thoughts from my Internet and work life. Since I started using the Internet in 1984 I am going to mix in some history I hope you will find interesting. My second blog (yet to be launched) will focus on broadband over satellite market, related technologies, and news.
